Pekan, 24 September 2024 - A total of 44 students from MRSM Tun Abdul Razak, Pekan, accompanied by 5 teachers, visited the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today as part of a learning excursion. This laboratory visit program is an initiative of the Faculty@School program, a collaboration between the Department of Academic and International Affairs (JHEAA) and the Faculty of Computing, aimed at introducing the academic programs offered at UMPSA.
The students visited various laboratories, including the Virtual Reality (VR) laboratory, Motion Capture laboratory, Network laboratory, and Cybersecurity laboratory. They were given technical exposure and had the opportunity to interact with expert lecturers in their respective fields. One of the most interesting aspects for the students was the VR application, where they had the chance to experience the use of VR technology firsthand.
It is hoped that the learning experience gained from this visit will inspire and motivate the delegation to pursue and further their education at the higher education level in the future.
