Cisco Academy (CA) Universiti Malaysia Pahang was established in 2006 as part of the world-wide Cisco Networking Academy Program. With just four certified instructors serving around 100 students, we have expanded with a total of 20 certified active instructors, producing almost 5000 students enrolled in varies courses offered by CA.
At our CA, the Cisco Certified Network Associate: Routing and Switching (CCNA R&S) courses is embedded into our program, that teaches students to design, build and maintain computer networks, with focus on hands-on learning and lab activities. The academy blends face-to-face teaching with web-based curriculum, hands-on lab exercises, and Internet-based assessment. Students can practice, experiment, learn and share their work using our networking labs equipped with the latest Cisco networking devices. The teaching is delivered by fully qualified CA instructors.

To support the learning process, we have TWO dedicated labs equip with Cisco 1941 routers and Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches. Each lab can accommodate up to 30 students.
Instructor Training Centre – Universiti Malaysia Pahang
In April 2019, our academy has been upgraded to Instructor Training Center (ITC) by CISCO, making us the third ITC in Malaysia and the first in east coast region. Within this short period, we have already managed to train 38 new instructors for CCNA Cybersecurity Operations and CCNA R&S.Courses currently offered in ITC
