HeDoo Innovation Team Place Third

Gambang, 5 September - Affordable Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitoring and Analysis Device has won the third place for Innovation Division Competition, Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) Category. A competition among Pahang IHL started in late February, with hundreds of submissions received by Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Pahang (SUK). This team is among 16 groups compete in the final exhibition from 3 to 5 September at Bukit Gambang Resort City near here.
The innovation presented in the final is about the affordable IAQ device, which is 75% cheaper than the market. It is due to the soft calibration of low-cost sensors against the industrial grade. Furthermore, it does not only give insight but come with a tailor-made analysis. To date, they're three-module available - office, learning space, and teaching technique.
Lead by Nor Azhar Ahmad from the Faculty of Computing, College of Computing and Applied Sciences; they already secured several copyrights on IoT data security, transmission, and teaching techniques rule sets. This team previously won Best of the Best Award (Staff Category) in UMP level innovation competition (CITREX) and a gold medal at the international stage at IPITEX, Bangkok last February.
