FK Students Induction Week - 2024/2025 Session

Pekan, 2 October 2024 - The Faculty of Computing at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMPSA) has successfully completed its Students Induction Week for the 2024/2025 session. The program welcomed 253 new computing students who will be pursuing various courses under the faculty: 103 in Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering with Honours), 47 in Bachelor of Computer Science (Graphic & Multimedia Technology with Honours), 74 in Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer System & Networking with Honours), and 29 in Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security with Honours).

The induction week aimed to introduce students to the university’s learning environment and to strengthen relationships between students, lecturers, and faculty staff. The program began with an introduction to the faculty club, PETAKOM, followed by a tour of the faculty. In the evening session, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Adzhar Kamaludin, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, congratulated the students on their successful enrollment. He emphasized the importance of knowledge in the field of computer engineering, which is increasingly in demand in the industry.

Various exciting activities were held throughout the induction week, including faculty orientation sessions, tours of the faculty’s labs and facilities, course introductions, and sessions with their respective personal advisors.
