UMPSA Achieves Dual Success at Huawei ICT Competition Malaysia 2024–2025
Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) proudly celebrates its outstanding achievements at the Huawei ICT Competition Malaysia 2024–2025 National Finals. The university secured Third Prize in both the Cloud Track and Network Track categories, showcasing UMPSA’s commitment to excellence in ICT education and innovation.
The prestigious competition, featuring over 1,200 participants from 40 universities nationwide, culminated in an awards ceremony held on 3 December 2024, officiated by Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapha Sakmud, who represented Minister of Higher Education (MOHE) Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir.
UMPSA’s triumphs are a testament to the hard work and collaboration of its dedicated instructors and exceptional students.
• Cloud Track Team, led by Ts. Dr. Hoh Wei Siang, comprised talented students Jehovah Yii Zui Hon (Hovah), Yeo Jia Hui, and Siti Nurdalilah binti Saiful Bahari.
• Network Track Team, guided by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Adzhar Kamaludin, included remarkable students Saravana Kumaran, Tusharan Saravannan, and Azelena binti Mat Zinin.
The success of UMPSA’s teams reflects the university’s emphasis on producing industry-ready graduates through cutting-edge curriculum, hands-on learning experiences, and strong collaborations with industry leaders like Huawei. The Network Track team’s exceptional debut performance and the Cloud Track team’s consistent excellence are vivid examples of UMPSA’s dedication to nurturing talent capable of excelling on both national and global stages.
