Cybersphere Solution Reaches Top 16 Finalist in Sunway Launch X University Startup Accelerator Program
Sunway, 26 August 2024 – Cybersphere Solution, a budding startup, has made significant strides in the Sunway Launch X University Startup Accelerator Program, emerging as one of the top 16 finalists out of 116 competing startups. The program, renowned for fostering entrepreneurial growth, has provided a transformative experience for the team.
Over the course of the 5-month program, the team at Cybersphere Solution, led by technical founder Kamaleshwahrran Naidu, has undergone intensive training in entrepreneurship, pitching, and customer acquisition. This achievement was made possible through the dedication of co-founders Ik Shim and Mohd Izzat, who have been instrumental in the startup's success.
A crucial element of Cybersphere Solution’s journey was the mentorship provided by Karen Lau, Chief Operating Officer at Sunway iLabs. Karen Lau’s guidance from the outset was pivotal in securing the startup’s position in the top 16. Additionally, company advisor Ms. Shanti Subramaniam, who has been supporting the team since their entrepreneurial journey began a year ago, played a significant role in their success.
Program coordinator Jia Qi Lee also played an essential role, believing in the potential of Cybersphere Solution's flagship product, DietMate—an innovative diabetes management tool. The team also found inspiration from interactions with Shawn Tham, Founder of UniLah, whose entrepreneurial journey serves as a model for aspiring founders.
“This journey has not just been about growth but also about building valuable connections and networking with some amazing people,” said Kamaleshwahrran Naidu. “But remember, this is just the beginning. We are excited to continue developing DietMate and to share updates in the near future.”
Cybersphere Solution’s achievement in the Sunway Launch X program marks a significant milestone in their journey, as they continue to innovate and strive for excellence in the startup ecosystem.
