Implementation of Work-Based Learning (WBL) Workshop
22 July 2024 - Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has successfully organized a workshop on the Implementation of Work-Based Learning (WBL) and Industrial Training under the Cyber Security Program. This event, held in collaboration with various industry partners, took place from 20 to 22 July 2024 at Erya By Suria Cherating, Cherating, Kuantan.
The workshop aimed to ensure that the academic programs at the Faculty of Computing meet the WBL requirements stipulated by the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT) and to enhance the quality of academic offerings at UMPSA. The sessions were led by YBhg. Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Adzhar Bin Kamaludin, Dean of the Faculty of Computing.
Eight lecturers, including key academic program developers from the faculty, participated in the workshop. During the sessions, several suggestions and improvements were identified to enhance the quality of the modules and the supervision provided during the WBL sessions.
The implementation of WBL at the Faculty of Computing is expected to have a significant positive impact, equipping graduates with the essential skills and confidence needed to excel in the workforce.
