Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) and University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed an Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in the city on Wednesday. Vice-chancellors of two universities signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Prof Dr Md Abu Yusuf Mohammad Abdullah, Chairman of NUB Trust, Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, Lt Col (Retd) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui, registrar, Prof Dr Mosharraf Hossain, dean of business administration faculty, and Prof Dr Md Humayun Kabir, dean of science and technology faculty, were present on behalf of the NUB.  On the other hand, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Daing Nasir Ibrahim, Prof Dr Kamal Jamli and Arafat Ur Rahman of computer systems and software engineering department, senior assistant registrar Azarizulazmi Bin Bustan were present from the UMP. Under the agreement, both universities will work jointly for the development of education and research.
