ICSECS 2025 Successfully Hosted at UMPSA!

PEKAN, 16 October 2025 - The 9th IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering & Computer Systems (ICSECS 2025) was successfully held at the Faculty of Computing, UMPSA, bringing together 116 participants from Malaysia and around the world.

With the theme “Advancements in Next Generation Intelligent Solution”, the conference showcased cutting-edge innovations and sustainable solutions in computing, fostering meaningful academic exchange and collaboration.

FK Students Shine at East Coast Summit on Sustainability 2025 (ECSUGIC 2025)!

GONG BADAK, 15 October 2025 - The Faculty of Computing (FK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of our students at the East Coast Summit on Sustainability and Green Innovations Competition (ECSUGIC 2025), held in conjunction with the Festival of Ideas (FoI) at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu.

Representing UMPSA, two (2) innovative teams from FK showcased their creative solutions focusing on sustainability, and energy efficiency — aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

PEKAN, 6 August 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), through its Centre for International Student & Mobility (PPAM), welcomed a delegation from the India-Malaysia Youth Exchange programme, comprising 32 students and 3 accompanying officials.

The visit, held at the Faculty of Computing, UMPSA Pekan, aimed to strengthen international collaboration while showcasing the university’s academic and research facilities.

The presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), who delivered the welcoming address and personally greeted the delegation during the ‘Meet & Greet’ session, added a warm and distinguished touch to the event.

This programme reflects UMPSA’s ongoing commitment to expanding its global network and supporting the internationalisation agenda of higher education in Malaysia through mobility and student exchange initiatives.
