KUALA LUMPUR, 14 May 2025 – A delegation from the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) conducted an insightful industrial visit to Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., specifically at the Huawei Customer Solution Innovation Center (CSIC) located at Integra Tower, The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur.
The visit was led by Ts. Dr. Hoh Wei Siang, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing. He was joined by fellow lecturers Ts. Dr. Nabilah Filzah Mohd Radzuan, Ts. Dr. Abdul Sahli Fakharudin, and Ts. Dr. Anis Farihan Mat Raffei. A total of 42 students participated in the visit, comprising 36 undergraduate and 6 postgraduate students.
The program aimed to expose students to real-world applications of advanced technologies and the operational landscape of a global ICT leader. The day began with a warm welcome from Ms. Delea Tan Siu Phing, Public Affairs & Talent Ecosystem Manager, Huawei Malaysia, followed by a guided tour of the Huawei CSIC.

- Exploration of Huawei’s Data Centre and Server Room
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Showcase
- Date Center Product and Solution
This immersive experience allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, enhancing their understanding of the rapidly evolving ICT landscape. Engaging discussions with Huawei engineers provided deeper insights into the company's innovation-driven culture and talent development programs.
The visit concluded with a group photo session and the presentation of a token of appreciation from UMPSA to Huawei, symbolizing the ongoing partnership aimed at fostering innovation and talent development in Malaysia's digital economy.
